Oris launched a new large-scale crown pilot 111 autonomous watch. The blue dial design is inspired by the vast and free sky. The big-crowned pilot watch has always been tough and functional, and under the blue decoration, it is even more unique, from the cockpit to the cocktail party, it is your stage.

Although the blue dial is the darling of the banquet, the Grand Crown Pilot 111 watch is still a mechanical watch with excellent performance and technical content. It is powered by Oris’s proud 111-calibre movement, representing the brand’s highest watchmaking standards.
The 111-spindle movement has a huge barrel, which can store up to 1.8 meters of barrels for 10 days of power. The 111 self-movement core is also equipped with Oris patented ‘non-linear power reserve display’ function, which can synchronously indicate the remaining power of the movement. The remaining power reserve scale from 10 days to 0 days gradually widens the distance and is more eye-catching than the conventional ‘uniform linear’ scale. At the same time, the movement also has a calendar display. Innovation brings more practical functions, while the ingenuity gives the machine its unique beauty. The 111 core is an ingenious fusion of tradition and modernity, mechanical and manual.
10-day power reserve
The right side of the dial is a patented non-linear power reserve display function
As early as the beginning of the last century, Oris appeared in the flight cockpit during the budding period of aviation. At the Oris Museum, an aviation pocket watch manufactured in 1909 was engraved with the pattern of the French pilot Louis Blériot’s plane, commemorating his first flight across the English Channel. Developed towards the end of the 1910s, Oris has begun to manufacture a large number of aviation watches for pilots. In 1938, Oris introduced the iconic large crown watch. Its crown volume is much larger than that of other contemporary watches, making it easy for pilots to operate the watch while wearing leather gloves. Today, the aviation series has become one of Oris’ four major product lines. They continue the precision and innovation of aviation, and are full of the brand’s blue sky feeling.
Today’s Grand Crown Pilot 111 watch is a typical aviation watch with excellent performance and appearance. 44 mm case, made of stainless steel, tough atmosphere. The design of the coin bezel is inspired by the engine turbine of a jet aircraft. The large hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®, which can be read clearly day and night. The dial is painted in sky-blue, with a dark brown Louisiana alligator leather strap, a black fabric strap, or a stainless steel strap. The banquet, military style, and formal wear are available in different styles. Heaven and earth are all elites, and this is the feeling of aviation watches.
